Anna Wintour apologises for describing Kanye West's fashion line as 'migrant chic

US Vogue editor Anna Wintour has apologised after describing Kanye West's fashion collection as "migrant chic" . Anna was heavily criticised for the comments, which she made on Kanye's Yeezy Season 3 collection, as she appeared on Seth Meyers' chat show Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Anna also revealed that she CRIED at the show at Madison Square Garden 

She told chat show host Seth Meyers : 

“They put me in this huge VIP section and I was the only person sitting there for about half an hour.“Eventually the Life Of Pablo concert started, and the 'migrant chic' fashion show started, and [it] was wonderful, but after about 45 minutes I did notice that Jay Z had slid away, so I thought I could sneak out after him without anyone noticing.“But I slid into the basement of Madison Square Garden and I was lost there for half an hour asking various people to let me out. I was really in tears."

Twitter went into outrage over her description of the collection, which she made on the show.

But Anna has since apologised for her comments, saying to The Guardian:

 “I apologise if my remark was offensive in any way. The migrant crisis is real, and I didn’t intend to trivialise that issue.”
