Sinead O'Connor 'missing and possibly suicidal' after failing to return from a bike ride
Police have confirmed they're concerned for the safety and well-being of Irish singer Sinead O'Connor after failing to return after a bike ride yesterday.
O'Connor, 49, was last seen on Sunday when she headed out in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette, with police alerted after she failed to return.
The Wilmette Police Department said in a statement on Monday:
Yesterday the Nothing Compares To U singer posted a bizarre message to Facebook in which she appeared to hit out at her son Jake, 28 over the custody of another of her three children.
O'Connor, 49, was last seen on Sunday when she headed out in the Chicago suburb of Wilmette, with police alerted after she failed to return.
The Wilmette Police Department said in a statement on Monday:
"The Wilmette Police is seeking to check the well-being of Sinead O'Connor.UK mirror reports police are said to be actively searching for the star after the alarm was raised, with Sinead classified as "missing suicidal"
"O'Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00am and has not returned. A caller has expressed concern for her well-being and no other information is available at this time."
